Weight Loss Track
I am still hanging on to my weight loss track! Sometimes I slip a little and one day a week I usually splurge. So far though I have lost between 5-8 lbs. I didn't pay very close attention to the scales the first time I weighed so I know it is definitely less, but the exact number is too close to call. I am so happy to have just lost a few pounds. I don't want to lose weight fast because I pile it back on twice as quick lol! Cross your fingers and say a prayer for me that I will stay on track :)

Do you drink Crystal Light?
If you do, there is a pretty good deal at Wal-Mart! The boxes of Crystal Light are $1.97 (give or take a few cents) use the Buy 2 Get 1 Free (SS 3/28) and combine with printable @ Slickdeals (see my sidebar) for $1/2! Get 3 boxes for $3! I was skeptical because I have only tried the Wild Strawberry in the Crystal Light brand and I have always bought the rest in the great value brand, but who could beat this price of $1/box. So I gave in and I am exploring 3 new flavors! Just a hint White Grape isn't bad at all :)

New Month....New Coupons
Spring Forward!
Spring Forward! That's right! I have determined since Spring has arrived it is time for me to Spring Forward out of my chair and get into shape! Since me and my husband met we have gained 30 pounds each....I know when you fall in love and you are happy that you tend to eat more not worrying about what anyone thinks because you are content with each other. I love my husband and I am very content in our marriage, but my weight is definitely a problem. I had lost between 20-30 pounds before I met my husband and now I am at my all time heaviest. So Monday was Day 1 on my journey to a new me! My husband and mom have agreed to ride bikes with me as much as possible and my husband and I began working out on our exercise machine (the one that had been gathering dust for the past few months). I am watching what I eat and converted to water....no more mountain dew :( I love that stuff...and I am off on my new adventure to a new me! Wish me luck!

Fun Weekend?
I hope everyone had an awesome (and hopefully fun) weekend! I know we did. We went to visit my favorite Father and Mother-in-law and stopped at Walgreens to score some big Savings! That is always exciting!
Here is the fun-filled savings I snagged:
(2) Ajax Dish Liquid @ .79 cents each w/ in-ad coupon
(2) Garnier Fructis Hairsprays @ .99 cents each w/ ESC coupon
(1) Colgate Total Toothpaste @ FREE + .51 cents profit after the ESC coupon and the $1.50/1 MQ
(4) Glade Sense & Sprays @ FREE + .01 profit w/ ESC coupon and $4/1 MQ
(4) Glade Lasting Impressions Starter Kits @ FREE + .01 profit w/ ESC coupon and $4/1 MQ
My subtotal was $2.97 and my sales tax was twice that @ $6.93= Grand Total $9.90
My total savings was $92.00 .... which equals one fun filled trip to Walgreens for me and a great day with the hubby and the in-laws!

A Great Walgreens Trip Today!
Today I ran to Walgreens to have a photo cd made for my mom and ran into a great deal.....
I got (4) Oral-B Crossaction Vitalizer Plus Toothbrushes ($3.99 retail) on sale for $1.19 and with my wonderful coupons I got these for .19 cents each!
I also picked up a tube of Colgate Total Toothpaste $2.99 - $2.49 ESC coupon - $1 MQ= .50 cents profit!
Talking about happy....this girl is always one happy momma when I get free stuff!

Ingles Deals
Just wanted to let you all know about some sweet deals at Ingles I took advantage of:
Herbal Essences Shampoo & Conditioner on sale 2/$5...there was coupons in the paper last week for $3 off 2 making these 2/$2.... I bought 6 of these cause I love this shampoo and you can't beat it for a buck each!
Progresso Soups- Some of these are on sale 4/$5 and some are 10/$10... Depending on which you buy with the coupon for $1.10 off these are either really cheap or free....I chose FREE!
Hamburger Helper is on sale for $1 each....I love this easy meal and we all love it!
Honeysuckle White Turkey Breast on sale for $1.98 each.... I used the coupon from slickdeals for $2/2 and got 2/$1.96
Pillsbury Crescent Rolls on Sale for $2 each... I used the coupon for $1/2 and got them @ 2/$3
Also, their grapes are on sale for $1.38/lb. which is a great deal for grape lovers like me!

This was a good shopping trip.... This was definitely not the greatest shopping trip I have done, but I had my son with me and this was what I heard....Mom, It has been enough already, we are all tired! Mom, why is it always Knoxville, Knoxville, Knoxville, why can't it be Scott County for once! I had to turn my head and laugh because he is only 8 and this was his first shopping trip ( he doesn't like the drive)....It was an adventure for him....probably his first and his last shopping trip to Knoxville though lol!

This was a good shopping trip.... This was definitely not the greatest shopping trip I have done, but I had my son with me and this was what I heard....Mom, It has been enough already, we are all tired! Mom, why is it always Knoxville, Knoxville, Knoxville, why can't it be Scott County for once! I had to turn my head and laugh because he is only 8 and this was his first shopping trip ( he doesn't like the drive)....It was an adventure for him....probably his first and his last shopping trip to Knoxville though lol!

I made my trip to Walgreens yesterday for some AWESOME savings!
Here is a list of the deals I picked up!

Also, There was the Mail In Rebates for the Cleaning Products $2/2 for up to $4... After the Mail In Rebates my Out of Pocket Expense will be $14.44!I was very PLEASED with this shopping trip!
As always make sure to pick up the Easy Saver Catalog it has a list of the Mail In Rebates and how to cash in on those and it has Instant Coupons in it also. Make sure that in order to use your register rewards in your same visit to break your items up into different transactions (put the items you get RR from in your first transaction) and make sure that you give the cashier the RR first before your manufacturer coupons if not it will reject them. Kroger and the Cottonelle TP!
I forgot to post earlier about the FREE Cottonelle Toilet Paper at Kroger's! Yes, this is true! I haven't paid for Toilet Paper in a month and I don't plan on paying for it! It is AWESOME! Here is how it works....go to the Cottonelle website by clicking here and follow the links to get your .50 cents off (1) 4-pack or larger, take this coupon to Kroger where the coupon doubles with the Kroger Plus Card....Cottonelle 4 packs are only .99 cents at Kroger and there you have it FREE TP! You will probably only be able to print off 2 coupons, but if you have friends or family that can print these off for you....you will never have to pay for TP! Happy Couponing Madness!
My World Of Couponing Madness
Being new to coupon clipping, I am gonna share with you what I have learned so far.
Every week I get 3 Sunday Papers in my neck of the woods it is the Knox News Sentinel.
First, I look through the coupon booklets, Smartsource and Redplum (both are weekly inserts) and P&G (once a month insert) that way when I go through the grocery ads then maybe that light bulb will go off in my head that says hey there was a coupon for that! Make sure you clip every coupon you think you will use whether now or later, because there may be an awesome sale on that 3 weeks from now! Second, I look through the Kroger, Ingles, Walgreens and CVS weekly ads. I always go over these two or three times so I know if one place has a better deal than the other. I look at all the items I want and make my list. Kroger is my favorite....Manufacturer coupons double up to .50 cents with the Kroger Plus Card, which for me means BIG savings! Kroger usually will have a deal....right now it is the Daytona 500 deal where you buy 10 participating items and get $3 off....I love these and I always plan wisely. Walgreens have RR (Register Rewards) where you get a receipt that has the RR on it good toward your next purchase, they also have an easy saver catalog (look for this as you come in the door) that you can find coupons in. Make sure if you are gonna buy something that has an in-ad coupon or a coupon out of the easy saver catalog that you tear or cut it out and give it to the cashier to make sure you get your savings, there are also Mail In Rebates to participate in as well. CVS has extra bucks rewards that go onto your extra care card ( I think this is similar to walgreens except you use the card) I don't go to CVS a lot so please be sure and check with your store about the extra bucks policy. Ingles doubles coupons up to .50 cents, but they have a policy regarding how many you can double depending on the amount of money you spend, again check with your local store. After you start collecting coupons when you read the Sunday paper you will start remembering....hey I have a coupon for that! That is when it gets exciting! I used to shop Wal-mart and try to buy everything in the Great Value brand that I could to save money, now that I started coupon clipping I can buy name brand cheaper than the great value brand and I don't only have to shop at Wal-mart! I get excited every Sunday when I set down to make my shopping list out! Coupon clipping has opened up a whole new world for me and it will you too!
